This is my new blog. I’ve decided to start fresh, discontinuing my two old blogs (one in Italian and one in English) and creating a new one from scratch.
I also choose to title my blog “Making Things Happen” instead of the former “Francesco’s Blog“. I wanted the title to tell something about me and about the blog.
This blog will be a place where I’ll share thoughts and bits of my life, and my life is all about making things happen. I have to spot ideas and inputs, my life is all about selecting them and transforming them into reality.
I always loved the process of making things happen, being there when an idea is born and then create the premises for that idea to become true, overcoming obstacles and winning challenges.
Making Things Happen is also a beautiful sentence made by beautiful words.
- Making: It’s about building something, creating something that doesn’t exist except from some sketches or raw ideas. The word making reminds us that nothing is lost, nothing is created, everything is transformed.
- Things: This word is about matter in a physical sense, but “things” represents also the idea of what we want to transform into reality, what matters to us. Things is, at the same time, both a reminder of the tangible matter of what we create, and of the wide range of things we can create. It’s up to us.
- Happen: This is a wonderful word. It’s the end of the journey, it’s about reaching the goal. When something happens it’s no longer an idea, it’s history.
