In a few days, January 25-27, I’ll be in Brussels participating at the “Think About It!” event, which is mainly a blogging competition about the imminet European elections but also a great opportunity to meet bloggers from all over Europe and share with them ideas and different views.
The competition involves writing blog posts about the elections, following candidates and their campaigns both from a national and European perspective.
I don’t like talking politics also because I think that current politicians are unable to provide the needed solutions, both because they use tools that are not always appropriate and because they are often more concerned about their personal interest than Europe’s.
Nevertheless, in this economic downturn I think it will be very interesting to follow the campaigns and the European politics in general, from an entrepreneur’s perspective, in order to understand what the priorities are according to the 27 states, which will surely have very strong different positions.
