Hi, Francesco,

I'm the product manager on Pinger Phone for the iPhone. Just saw your comment and wanted to clarify a statement.

Your user information will NOT be shared with the public.

You probably saw a comment in one of the reviews which incorrectly stated this. Please re-read the terms and conditions either in the app or at http://www.pinger.com/content/company/terms_conditions.html. We are working to remove misstatements like this one.

Additionally, Pinger Phone currently does not have VoIP capabilities, as you noted above. However, you can aggregate social network feeds and view the online presence status of your contacts if they are linked in Pinger Phone (which easily done).

I hope this was helpful and that you and your readers will give Pinger Phone a try. Just click on http://itunes.com/app/PingerPhone

Cheers,
John

Not sure when you downloaded Pinger Phone, but we updated the terms and conditions to protect your privacy more appropriately. At first we were (stupidly) sharing that legal docment across all our services--including a social network where, of course, your personal info is shared.

So the terms and conditions specifically for Pinger Phone are much more conservative, makng the cost a free a lot less!
