New Verizon’s ads to promote their great coverage and fight back AT&T and the iPhone are really fun.

The video (sorry for the crappy quality) makes fun of having a latest generation smartphone and having to wait to download a game or stream a movie, situations that AT&T users face pretty much every day, even in large “tech” cities like San Francisco.
AT&T has always had both coverage and quality problems over all its network. Just think that they only introduced MMS on the iPhone last August, while its American competitors had that service in portfolio for ages.
This move clearly wages war to the iPhone and has to be taken into great consideration also because Verizon is now partnering with Google to deliver their Voice service on Android phones.
With a killer app such Google Voice, that Apple rejected from the App Store, the game could now take a whole different course, at least in the USA. Here in Europe we’ll just have to wait and see.
